hi, i am looking for some useful tools/templates to store linkbuilding records for reporting purposes. anybody has any such resource that could simplify/organise linkbuilding plz share it be of lot help thank you
If you're doing manual link-building like I am, I dont think there is anything you can use to produce clear/concise/worthwhile reports. Its a bummer really and because people are so used to automatic link-building. Automatic link-builders can make use of scripts that will automatically produce wonderfully concise link-building reports. But those offering manual link-building get thrashed by their clients who just dont seem to understand that manual work simply cant produce such a report unless you MANUALLY run thru each and every site looking for each and every backlink you built for your client. Of course, if the links are being built, a regular check using the right search parameters in any search engine will show you your new links appearing over time. At least I havent found anything yet but will certainly pay to consider any script who can do this for me... .
Backlinks are a hard thing to track, espscially if a site takes off and starts generating organic backlinks. I'm afraid there's no easy way out.
okay then how do you guys prepare reports or atleast maintain records of your activity....excel template?? dont you guys ever require to log or say refer to your assignments to continue working nex day meanwhile keeping track of your work so far?? jus started with link building/seo & already finding it difficult to track my activity. was into MIS before vry organised & seo seems so different & lacks the accountability & proper documentation of the work process. currently iam working on a basic template consisting database's of Article, directories, blog, social bookmarks etc with the option to log my present activity but i am sure there must be better/refined way of doing it. any input is appreciated thank you
User 'LYCHEE' should be banned on DP for ripping off people through his linking program. Other DP users beware.
