Link Building Strategies

I am building links for one of my friends. What strategies and techniques should I use? He has a credit card site

I am using
1. Comment
2. Articles
3. Free Blogs
4. Social Bookmarking

 

I would recommend guest posting. Write a post, include couple of links with good anchor text inside it, and offer it to one of the biggest blogs in your field. If they accept you will have some great PR, relevant and high-quality links back to your site. And also you will be introduced to a great number of potential visitors to your site as your article will have a short bio about you as well.

 

I've had success with Free blogs, especiallly wordpress and also direcotry submissions.

 

Article marketing is a good long term link building strategy, blog commenting can be a quicker way to build links. Also forum posting is good aswell.

Continue with blog commenting. This will help you in long run. Pages that you comment might earn some page rank in next or following page rank update.

 

I think you left out subdomain building. A link from one of your subdomains is as good as any other url link with the same rank. In this way you can post a 100 links (if allowed by the site) that all lead back to your main page. Don't forget to link back your subdomain to your selected in links. this will improve there ranks wich in return improves the value of these links.

ask yourself this - if you were google, and you spotted a site with 10,000 backlinks, all from subdomains of a single domain (or 2, or 3), what would YOU think? Legit? or link building effort?

 

article mktg is sure hit - it gives links on content relevant pages. and if the article is good it can get published in a lot of great places as well

 

I stick to article marketing and commenting.
