Hi Guys I thaught i would construct a list of the current ways i know how to get backlinks and would love people to comment back with their ways and tactics . So here we go

1) Squidoo Lens Creation

3) Purchasing Links
4) Reciprical Links
5) Asking Website Owners For Link
6) Social Media Digg/Reddit/Facebook/Twitter
7) Press Releases
8) Writing Articles and Putting them in directories
9) Directory Submissions
10) Blog Commenting
11) Blog Posting

12) Create a video and submit it to video sharing sites
13) Turn an article into a PDF and submit to Docstoc.com, Scribd.com and Issuu.
14) Guest posting
15) Software directory submission
16) Create a FireFox extension. If it get's approved you get a permanent link from Firexfox.org (PR9 Baby!)
17) Create a Wordpress theme - give it away, or sell it. For each installation you get a backlink!

Writing guest blogs (preferrably in your sector) can not only provide you with a link but also help cement your reputation as an "expert" in your given field.

 

Link building sucks... Advertise on targeted high traffic sites and you will get better results unless you want success in long time...

 

creating link wheel is another option is getting links.

 

hahaha, these all techniques are too much old, tell me if you know new something.

It's better when it's different, but it really shouldn't be too much of a problem if it's the same (post it first on your blog, wait some time and only then send to article directories).

 

It doesn't matter if it's old or not. As long as the method works, why change it?

I know we have to adpat to the constant change of how Google ranks etc but these techniques still work.
