Yes. Try LinkAssistant SEO Tool. It's my personal choice for most of my link building tasks.

There are also some free tools to do some of the tasks, but for me LinkAssistant brings it all together.

    Hi,

I've just coded some link building software :)

Called "WebMaster Pro AutoBacklinker" If you PM me I'll show you it.

    Thanks,

    Lee.

My personal opinion is that SEO Elite isn't worth the money asked. It's not just my opinion, there's lots of negative feedback from DP users. Take a look here, for instance:

However, I do agree SEO Elite's competition analysis feature is pretty good, but since it's pretty much all SEO Elite does properly, I'm not willing to pay $167 for it. Also, LinkAssistant can analyze you competitors too.

Why not show it to all of us here? Just give us a link, the feature-set and some screenshots. What I'm trying to say is you are making your potential users walk the extra mile, while it should be the other way around :D

Regarding SEO Elite, I happened to try out the free demo version of it sometime back. I was quite impressed by how it works. But frankly, as you had said, I would have considered if it had been atleast $100 less..
