How do link building services affect SEO? I see a lot of people using them but at the same time I don't want to be penalized if the link building service gives me 100 backlinks in 24 hours. I'm sure Google would find this suspicious. I am on the 3rd page for a fairly popular term and want to improve on this. I don't want to make mistakes that will hurt me in the long run though.
Well, if it's giving 100 backlinks in 24 hours, then it's hurting more than helping. Never tried them myself though. But I've heard that some of them are good enough to give you 2 or 3 links per day for continuous months.
if the links are one-ways.. they cannot hurt even if they are added millions in one day, not all will be cralwed at the same time.. If that was to happen.. I would have taken down all my competitors right on..the max that happens is the site loses its Trust Rank(hypothetical) and the links will not get valued unless they age enuff or simply might get devalued.. Thats the worse that can happen.. and I dont think it can hurt any more..
Yeah, it is highly unlikely that 100 links in 24 hours will cause any problem. As lovekills_s says, they are not going to be found by the search engines that quickly anyway. This is especially true for directory links which can take a long time to be found.
100 backlinks in 24 hours is more then enough. you will get negative response from major SE with such link building. 30 to 50 links per months are sufficient enough. I will suggest you to do deep link building of your site. You will surely get good results
