Some of you know what happened with a couple of my sites. They are back in Google, and some pages are ranking well. However, others are not ranking well at all. Before this happened, for example, I had a page that ranked on the first page of Google results for the search video capture. Now it's on page 8 or so. So anyway, I have been thinking what needs to be done to hopefully achieve good placement again. I guess I need more links! Hey...something goes wrong...throw more links on it, right? Now I do advertising (as many of you know), I do directory submissions (again, as many of you know), and several other things (just started with articles...working with Westhaven on that for new ones and submission now). I don't contact other sites and try to get listings out of the blue that don't offer a listing option. Is this something that you all see as being good practice with good results? I know that a couple of you here offer services for this. So, now is your chance to stand up and tell us about your service, pricing, and such. I'm interested in hearing about this, seeing how the pricing is structured, going rates, etc. If the pricing is affordable, and the result will likely be good, I am seriously thinking of proceeding with this. So, someone will likely make a sale here. What I am after in this is links on quality, related sites. Sites that I am likely to get real traffic from in addition to the SE benefit. I am not really looking for directory links, although I wouldn't be opposed if the person doing the service finds one I missed. I don't want the directories I have already listed with submitted to again is the main thing there. Do those of you who offer this service have a price for x number of links or is it handled another way? I'd, of course, prefer to pay for performance (results) rather than an arbitrary amount. Ideally, I was thinking x amount for a standard, relevant link and y amount for a higher traffic and/or higher PR relevant link. However, I am open to other arrangements also. Anyway, I will stop rambling for now, see what comes on this, and then go form there.
I might be interested in doing this part time. Say an hour a day. I've done extensize link building of my other sites. I do work in America though and go to school so my prices will be a bit higher then others. I suppose your just looking for someone to contact related sites and see if they'd be interested in a link exchange. If this is the case I'd be willing to start a $1.50 a successful exchange. Obvisouly we'd have to come up with some terms etc.. but with gas prices as they are it might be cost efficent to work from home. PM me
