    If you purchase a domain, you can point it anywhere you want. It's yours. You own it.

    You wouldn't want each domain using the exact same content though. You would risk being penalized or banned for duplicate content.

    Well, if you are on a shared hosting account which allows add-on domains you will be more than likely using the same name servers.
