Link Building in xxx.yousite.com, subdomains, and non home pages

    Hey guys,

I am trying to understand if it is worth creating a blog on the subdomain of several sites I have so I can write alittle bit of content and link to my other sites. Will the link juice mean as much?

What I am trying to do is cut down on the Outbounding Links on a page so that way my links are worth more.

    Suggestions?

You are inter linking between your different domains? dont do that if you like to other site then make it focal point and so.

If you are having many sites under same IP big search engines dont give much weigh to those links.

I have switched the sites Ips recently so I do not run into that exact problem. Although they are still in the same IP family. 93.29.20.xx (that was an example but you get what I am saying)

So your saying there is no advantage of using the subdomains?

Sure, that's a good way to get a lot of links to your site. If you are good at writing, why don't you go for guest posts instead?

Yea, I was curious about this also. I have a link directory on a subdomain on my site and was not sure if it was even worth starting to promote it. It uses the same header as my site with the logo at the top still linking to my index page.

Google treats subdomains as new sites, if youre going to start a blog on your domain do it on a folder so it can get some benefit from the links you've already built to the site.

I accept: Google treats subdomains as new sites, if we going to start a blog on domain do it on a folder so it can get some benefit from the links.
