I'm pretty new to SEO, linkbuilding, etc,etc and need a little help.

I've read a lot of information on the subject, blogs, and such. All of them say how to get links like post on forums, post in comments, submit to directories.

I have just started making minisites to build up a network of sites to generate some income for now. My goal for my sites is to make $1/day each via adsenses, I plan on getting basically all my traffic from google.

The niches that I am in are pretty much very non-competitive the top results for the niche im working on right now the site in position number 1 has like 200 backlinks. (none from directories though)

So my problem is I can't figure out how to get backlinks. There are no forums in my niche, no blogs, I've contacted a bunch of sites in the niche and none will link to me. It may make me sound lazy but hand submitting it to hundreds of directories isn't really worth it for a site that will make like under $400 a year. In order to make good money off of it I would need a few hundred sites and its just not very practical to submit to 200 plus directories per site or am I wrong and thats what I have to do? so for all you out there that are in the same boat or have been and have some advice I would really appreciate it! Thanks!

Spend the $15 per domain and get digixmas.com submitter. It's easier then manual directory submissions, and it will get you plenty of backlinks. But competing with a site that has 200 backlinks is nothing. I'd probably hand submit anyway, and mix in some social bookmarks. But if your sites look like MFA, then avoid directory submissions because many will deny your submission.

    Good luck.
