Can anyone tell me how to build links so that I do not sandboxed by Google? I know some wise guy will say build links slowly. But what is slow? Anything that isn't natural means nothing too! Because any link building for a new domain is un - natural, agree? What I've done so far... I have created a basic 8 page site, all new fresh content, created sitemap and RSS feed, submitted RSS feed to pingler (once) and submitted sitemap to Google (webmasters tools). 7 Pages listed on Google using site:domain (dot)com. Submitted the site to 150 web directories over last 7 days. Commented on 40 blogs (dofollow) in past 7 days. Commented on 10 forums with 10 posts, each post has 3 anchor texts in sig to site over past 8 days. Stumbled site one. Submitted 3 articles all unique to different article directories. What I intend on doing for next 10 days. More forum commenting, a further 10 forums = an additional 300 backlinks, 1 x Press release. Tell me if this would work?
Yes that would definitely work, you also need to focus on other aspects of marketing like social bookmarks and all.
matrixsoftwarez, thanks for that, I would do the SB in month 2-3, after building a couple of squidoo lens and a couple of hubpages. What I don't want is the site to be sandboxed! Once again, thank you for your comments.
Good that you have made a plan but dont stick to it very firmly. Like if you get 12 good related forums instead of 10 dont hesitate... Keep working on it.
Sounds like a pretty good plan. In addition to building the backlinks I'd suggest adding fresh content to your site. 8 pages is just a start.
Do slowly slowly link building, start from directory submission and then article submission, forum posting and press release etc
you obviously haven't read the post fully - yes I submitted the sitemap to Google and all pages now listed.
Your plan is very good ! Use as many different techniques to get links as you can so links will appear more natural. If you only concentrate on one way to get links this can be suspicious. Like if all your links are from directories or smthng...
Yup, Need to work slowly slowly .. Start to develop your links from directory submission, blog post, articel submission , Socail Bookmarking.
Content is the king... you should created very unique content for your site... after that submit your site in mazor search engines, Article submission, blog posting, directory submission and social site also a very good way to get back links for your site.manually search for related sites and send them link exchange proposal. Cheers!
I recently placed a new customer site (2 month old) with just one PR2 back link # 3 + 4 for a search term with 11.000.000 pages competition on Google! Back links are not "all", the right onpage and site structure optimization is what saves you an awful amount of work on the long term. But if you are searching for a good method for quality one way links, have a look at this. http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=1305452
you dont need to submit too google, or anywhere else for that matter.. If your building backlinks the bots will find you anyway. Ive never submitted a site too google in my life.. i also dont use google web tools. By doing that google has you by the balls.. knows everything about your site.. Infact i dont even use sitemaps.. let the bots figure it out ...lol
Remember that you also should be looking for relevant, high PR sites to give you a link. It takes hundreds of Pr 0 links from directories and forums to equal one relevant PR 5-7 link. As for building links slowly, the SEO company I deal with now insists on less than 50/month. They say anything more will set off red flags. Though anybody who gives you a number is guessing to some degree, I personally think this sounds about right. I've often heard the link a day to be safe expression which means about 30/month, but I wouldn't be worried with 50/month. Finally, don't forget to change up the anchor text. Hope this helps a bit.
Hi, your plan looks good. Additional suggestions : You've already mentioned squidoo and hubpages. I'd suggest you add Googlepages, blogspot and wordpress.com. You can reuse some of your articles there, or post a snippet with a link to your article on the article site. Also, vary the forum sigs; have them pointing to your articles, or the squidoo / hubpages etc. Look at it this way. If you are trying to get ALL the backlinks to your main site, then you need to keep it lower key. On the other hand, if you are getting backlinks to a dozen different pages (your articles, your squidoo, your blogspot etc..), you can add a helluva lot more at a time, and all of them help your main site.
As a 'rule of thumb' a site with less than 1,000 links pointing to the entire domain, should get less than 100 links per month (30 day period of time) and no more than 10 links in one day. That's not a solid, unbreakable rule, but a safe guideline so that you're not going too slowly, and delaying the whole process. Also, if you follow those guidelines, you won't get 'too many' links too quickly, and run the risk of tripping a filter/penalty. After your site has over 1,000 links pointing to it, you can ramp up the number of links per month, but it would still probably be wise to keep it less than 10 links in one day. Hope this helps, Neil
I would suggest to narrow your selection to one or two sites with good PR (5-6) and try to get listing there. You will get indexed in less than a week and SEO traffic. After this start doing seo with sites which have traffic, check their alexa ratings for this.
I found a site that is right in my niche, so I post my articles on my blogs on the domain, then i post a snipit on the "niche" site, and I see a vast number of visitors per snipit I post, attracted to my sites.
if you have done there, your website will get more linkback. but you need top quality link. top quality backlink will help fastly.
