Hi, We're just starting a Dating site that will be more link social networking... It will allow users to make their own blogs, picture uploading, video uploading, IM, chat etc.... Although it isn't still don (it will be in about 20 days), and although we have a great onpage SEO we can't seem to find how we can build links for it. Nobody wants to exchange links and we just don't know what to do... I mean the site will be 100% free and I believe the people will love it but how can we create a buzz about it? First finish creating your site, no one with a quality site want to trade links with or link to a site under construction. Once your site is complete you should spend time submitting to directories, article directories, press releases, getting one-way links etc to build up pagerank by the next update, because it is often hard for a new pr0 site to find quality link partners. Since you is going for a extremely competitive niche (dating), there is no need for you to rush since the site will not rank any time soon (sandbox + big competitors)
