Linkvana is pretty much the best one out there - but it is pricey ... you get what you pay for I suppose
Try http://www.topseos.com I know, I know, this is self serving. For all we know they developed the site. In fact I would be willing to bet on it. BUT, some of the data is useful, # of years in business, awards won (where someone else recognized a company), and the rest is up to you whether you believe it. I've been dealing with one of the firms on the list and I have found their honesty and communications to be excellent. If you wonder about this, do some background on some of these firms. check their awards. Look for magazines that have done a similar ranking. Are they on it? Report back to all of us.
What a coincidence. I was just looking up the web address for Vizion. I spent about two hours yesterday reading SEO blogs boot strapping myself up the quality ladder. First I determined who the most well regarded bloggers or SEO newsletter/bloggers were. Then I saw who they mentioned and who blogged them and who commented on who blogged them. I will take this as a sign, reading your comment about Vizion at the same moment I was Googling them. But a high end firm is not what I am looking for. I doubt they will want me. I am small and new. But the issue is "who can you trust". Who does quality work that I can trust............ and at the same time would be interested in my business. I've found out how to find some of the best, like High Rankings or Bruce Clay. Now I have to find out how to go down the ladder, not in quality but in customer size.
