Hello all, I am sorry if my questions will look old and probably they were asked by many people, but for me link building still remains a "mystery". I tried submitting to directories, writing articles, link exchange, posting on blogs and forums. What else? Is there any good link building strategy? Now about posting on forums and blogs. Are they any value if rel="nofollow" is present? Should I bother anymore to post in this situation? BTW, did you now any good software to find related blogs for a specific keyword or phrase? Thank you all.
You are using the basic methods already. You can also do guest posts on other's blogs. To find dofollow blogs you can use some search engines on that page. I have found FastBlogFinder to be pretty good.
I'm surprised how few people ask this question - many simply accept 'they need links' without questioning the whys, wheres and hows. Posting on blogs and forums has value in traffic as well as giving you some say over anchor-text etc. Both will attract highly targeted traffic is you post in a relevant forum and also gives you an oppurtunity to build a sense of trust with the regular readers.
Unfortunately more and more people are using rel="nofollow" for blog posts links. I used fastblogfinder as someone suggested. 90% of the blogs found are using nofollow. Does anybody know how to find dofollow blogs?
best way is xrumer as fast as possible, it will help you a lot - here you will get the information http://www.botmasternet.com
Posting on forums/blogs with link really helps. I'd say 1/3 of my traffic is from backlinks, the rest are friends from games that I play, which is another good way to share your links.
Forget that the "Unholy Trinity" of blog commenting, forum posting/signatures and social media (bookmarking/networking) even exists. You want real, merit based links - with a handful of effective articles and directories. This post will tell you how to get those coveted links. http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?p=12104573#post12104573
Use Social Bookmarking sites. Submit you blog to websites like Digg , Delicious and Stumbleupon and share them in form of stories.
