Anyhow when I first decided to get into webmastering last year I created a lens but did nothing with it. I'm not sure why I created it in the first place other than someone on DP probably stated it was a great way to promote your site.

I've seen quite a few services offered in the Services section about Squidoo lens creation so these must be of some value. Can you answer a couple of basic questions I have?

1- How does a Squidoo lens promote your site? Is it from a boost in SERP or traffic from Squidoo?

2- I have a lens that needs work big time, can you tell me how much you will charge to optimize it properly?

Well first things first. Go Gators!! Now secondly, to answer your questions about Squidoo lenses.

Squidoo.com is already a high pagerank site, with many high PR inner squidoo pages, as you know PR fliters down into all inner pages within a site, so right when you create a Squidoo lens, your getting linked to from other sections of squidoo, and getting the link value, and the PR rating. So when you create a Squidoo lens, with links back to your main site, with good content, and unique content, it gives a higher link value then just a plain link on something like a blogroll of a PR 1 blog. Plus not only can you benefit from the link building with Squidoo, but also you can sell items through eBay, Amazon, etc., and make a profit through Squidoo.
