It is for people starting with SEO and traffic building but really if you just master the basics then you will be able to bring a lot of traffic to your website if you write great content. Many people are working way too much on SEO and not focusing enough on writing great content which is what makes people come back after they find your website.
Exactly, you have to have a good and meaty content for the readers. Even if you are getting traffic through link building but if your content is not interesing or informative, user will immediately leave your page. So first concnetrate on your content. Also if you have a good content, people will automatically spread it.
Pretty basic stuff - could have used some more material...but still, never hurts to put reminders out there.

There's actually a very simple, yet very useful, piece of advice in the article venetsian posted. Searching for "your keyword"+comments to find blogs allowing you to comment on them. Thanks for that advice! Keep up the good work!
