My site is quite new and i want to gain some pr on it, so what i am prepared to do is any bids that i get from a link bidding site i will use the money to place a link back on there site.
The site is http://gapti.com please reply here with the link and the amount and i will place a link back on your site asap. Please remember if your min bid is set higher than the bid you have placed on gapti i wont be able to place a link and i will need to take inconsideration of the paypal costs.

    Thanks mark.

I just placed a bid of $2 for Bid Directory. You can place a bid back for $1. The site still has low but will get more with the next update.

Great idea you started with this promotion.

I would advise against fixing/exchaning bids like this.

Exchanging bids IS fixing bids. No matter how much they bid, you are guaranteeing the same bid back. If someone places a $15 bid to get on top of yours, you are placing a $15 bid on theirs. Net/Net it is a bid guaranteed not to cost them anything or cost you anything (except maybe a small paypal fee). So what stops a person from bidding $100 to get on top of your site, knowing you will give the money back as a bid back to them.

A bid that somone places knowing it will cost them nothing is not a bid. It's nothing but a prop bid. Once people know you are accepting prop bids you will have a lot of problems getting people to make actual bids.
