#1 I like how link baiting works, but how do you link bait for "boring" websites as most people have an interest in entertainment, say Paris Hilton or Lindasy Lohan. How do you link bait, insurance, health..etc etc #2 When you link bait, does the page with article only benefit? as people will be directly linking to it. Does their linking benefit the overall site or specific page?....basically does your overall site benefit from the linking juice of others, or just the specific page
There are forums & blogs out there about such things, find them, and work out deals. Also, if it's good content, then it'll likely be found and natural linking will eventually occur. Deep Linking gives bonuses to the entire domain on some level. Your article pages should link back to a main index and vise versa on some level. Internal linking is the key there, the PR will eventually bleed in both directions. Just don't go over-board, as I've seen some pages that were a navigational nightmare.
In regards to this question, yes if your homepage or index page has links to your subpages that are clear (not within flash or java) your homepage will be able to pass on some of that "link" juice to the rest of your subpages. In essence passing on some of the juice to your whole website as long as a link to those subpages can be found on your index page.
