Can anyone please explain what link baiting is? and how it is done.

About yahoo answers. I can't seem to figure where to put my back link. I answered a few question there and got Best by the Asker.

Linkbaiting is the strategy for collecting natural link. The strategy might be publishing very very informative articles, offering free tools, offering free ebooks so that people write about your blog or service and link to your site or blog.

You can not directly put link on yahoo answer and you can not make spam there. If you do so you will be banned. First you have to try to build reputation there by answering on other question. And after building good reputation there, within your answer you can place reference link that not look spam. And the links will not be anchored and completely nofollow

yahoo answer links are nofollow so it will not count as link juice...but you may still generate actual traffic, which, of course, is valuable

You can get backlinks from Yahoo! Answers, just because they're nofollow doesn't mean they won't give you any link juice..

yahoo answer only allow you to put the click-able link after you reach level 2.
The best place to put the link is under the resource box

Yahoo Answer can increase the number of the visitors to your website. But you won't get the Backlinks from Yahoo answer.

Keep it 'cool' on yahoo answers, some contributors will click the report button really fast if you start posting your site too much.

Even though they are nofollow, they might still count for some search engines...
