Link Bait - with Ads or without Ads?

i have some trick in my pocket. Before i use them, i want to take out all the Ads in my site first.

Reason? If i see a site that has little or no PPC or affiliate Ads, i am more likely to link to it.

just wonder do you feel the same

 

Not speaking from research, but I personally would be more likely to link if there were no ads.

 

Yes. Definitely. If your site is good enough, however, people will still link to it. Take YouTube as an example.

 

I'd also agree. You should use the tricks without the ads. I personally sometimes dont link to sites which have adsense on them, as well as other ads!

 

No ads....but I guess it depends what your overall marketing objectives are. If it is to make a living on adsense....I would say go ahead. If it's to build long term relationships with customers, I would say no.

 

It depends on how the ads are placed. Well placed ads that are integrated into the site and don't jump out at the viewers are not so bad. But if the page looks like it was made to do nothing but make money from adsense then I wouldn't link to it.

 

I'd say it depends on the website theme. If its a good trick you could always make a killing off text links
