    hm.. I don't see the purpose of linking to your profile from your own standalone site. What do you think you could gain from it?

    what will you have if you do this? i did not understand. if you are a member of dp forums for a long , it's possible that your profile page and everythink related you indexed by google:)

    The forum has alot more authority than alot of sites. So you could get it to rank for terms easier than other sites with less authority if you throw links at it.

    It's called parasite hosting and it is very popular these days. Just go search "buy viagra" at Google and you will see what I mean. Most results are pages on .edu domains - parasite hosting.

    I didn't do it by myself.But some one else done it to my thread and I got the backlink to my sites myseminars and bollygossips.
