I would like to share my experience with the decision I made to purchase Link Assistant to build links for my website. After watching the presentation video of the product,I was keen on giving it a go as it seemed the software did all the things I wanted. At first contact,the team were friendly and accommodating in every way,from answering pre order queries to options available. The moment the order was made, there seemed to be a distinct lack of interest and trying to get support was incredibly difficult. The answer as usual goes like "we are inundated with orders and can't cope". Obviously one of the few on this recession ridden planet. I find it quite embarrassing to roll out a product without ample support for clients. I would strongly advise anyone attempting to purchase this software to thoroughly test it before paying a penny as there are faults within the product. Sadly some of the errors occur only after payment and access to full version. The main problem I had was it's inability to upload files to my server which was verified by easily connecting with an ftp client using the same details. Another annoying attribute was the time it took to get just "30" links using the recommended option...........1 hour 14mins. It took support quite a while to respond to my query regarding the upload issue and even at that, they were clearly disinterested in doing anything about it. There was a particular lethargy about the service and the english/russian divide seriously hampers comprehension. There seems to be a willingness to support without actually doing anything. It's comforting to get apologies for poor service, but if the errors are still unresolved then I find it quite pointless. They need to work on the product some more to remove the glitches from the unsuspecting user. Their ticket system did not accept any of my attachments ie screenshots/files relating to the errors so I'm uncertain as to how users can clarify their queries. I even stated that if they could resolve the problem with the software,I would be willing to try again but it seems comprehension is sadly not included with the package. All in all a "pretty" product but as for service............anything but pretty.
I bought this a couple of weeks ago, and experience the same problems. However, it is now all working fine, and I have no complaints
Good to know it works for you. They are still working on my issue and are unable to fix the error. I was asked to resend the files as they were corrupted somehow but even they failed to realise that in order to save the file,you need a Product Key. Don't they know how their own product works. At this rate it might be solved before Christmas.
Just as an update of the original post, the support staff at LA went all out to resolve the errors I received with the software. I now have a great backlink program that runs error free and look forward to a good page rank in the very near future. I hope to post updates as to how the software is performing with regards to PR etc..
