Set your own standards that the submitted links must meet for acceptance in your directory. I see that you have thousands of pending links, so be careful with what you accept.

It doesn't matter how many your approve daily so long as your approve high quality websites. Spammy directories are those directories listed spam links and not categorized well. You should be careful to categorize links correctly.

I think 15 to 20 directories are enough in one day.

It is really amazing to see so many people responding without even trying to understand what the OP is asking.

Obviously, the OP is asking the question from a directory owner/editor's perspective, while a lot of others are (happily) replying from a submitter's perspective. :)

    My answer to the OP:

As a few others have said above, the more, the merrier, keeping the following in mind:

As a directory owner, you are whom you approve and so, don't approve submissions that are

    1) made under inappropriate categories
    2) from obviously spammy or very poor quality sites (otherwise you'll become a part of 'bad neighborhood')

Other than that, the more you approve, the more (content and traffic) growth your site will enjoy.

    HTH

well there is no limit for this , but you should work on the more directories instead of putting links in the some directories ,
you may use the same directory some other day ,
