Link AdSense Unit Experiment I'm finally going to try something interesting with AdSense and gonna to have public results on the outcome and effect. Due to restrictions by the Google AdSense terms of service and it's policys certain information will just not be available. Reports on the running experiment will be given daily. The actual experiment will be a test using only "link units" in the Google AdSense publishers program. I'm going to test different methods, placements, etc strictly with the "link units". No other AdSense ads will appear on the same web page as the testing units, if there are there information will not be rendered in the results. The actual purpose of this experiment is to see if a site can be monitized with strictly link units and earn revenue to par with other publishers. To be a success would be to generate successfil earnings in a one month period. As we all know if you used only link units your pages wouldn't seem "filled" with ads and they can be used in placement to "optimize" clicks. Reporting will start on 3/2/2008 via this thread with 3/1/2008 results and following the same order there after.
