link ads. when do they pay

This is probably a dumb question.

I'm using Google Adsense and have place "link Ads" in my content. So Adsense servers up 5 little hyperlinked keywords and their Ads by Google logo.

When clicked they take the user to a page with the actual full text link ads. showing the advertisers URL, etc...

My question is: Do I earn when someone clicks on the "link ad" or only if they click on the subsequent "text link ad"?

Yep, only if they click an ad on the second page. Otherwise nada, zilch, nothing.

No chance I can customize the second page them ?

 

I think not, since it's a page on Google.

 

No, you can customize the search results page, but you can't customize the link-clicked page.

 

it's always better to use Ads block rather than ads list. at least you can get the income instantly and dont need to wait for them to click the second ads.
