Both players are on song at the moment. Ronaldo scored twice last night against Ajax in the champions League and is in much better form than last season.
Jose Mourinho has Real Madrid playing to their true potential. Although I like Barcelona very much I will not put any money on them winning.
If anyone could plot Barcelona's downfall then it Mourinho is the man. What a thrilling encounter awaits all footballing fans.
The key players in this match are Messi for Barcelona and Ronaldo for Real.

 

Messi has got to be the winner out of the two, he plays with grace and style and can at times produce sheer brilliance which only a player of such a high calibre could produce. Ronaldo does have his own sort of style which does produce the results but overall I would rate messi far higher!

I have watched countless matches of Ronaldo and he is easier mark out of a game than Messi. Watch the Barcelona 5-0 thumping of Real Madrid. The reason is that Messi has incredible ball skills and brilliant close control. If he doesn't score then he creates opportunities.

Messi weak? He set up David Villa twice to score against Real and he struck the upright with the keeper beaten. The Real defence was led a merry dance by the maestro Messi and Ronaldo was dreadful.

Ronaldo is with out a doubt one of the game's outstanding players. Messi is sublime and IMHO a better player than Ronaldo. Do yourself a favour and watch a replay of the Barcelona and Real clash.
Ronaldo was nowhere to be seen. Compared to Messi other footballers look one-dimensional even Ronaldo.
