Any hockey fans here. I"m not too sure what to make of this. The guy is one body check away from playing with finger paint the rest of his life. But on the other hand, when he's healthy, he is an amzing asset to any team.

    Lindros is a bitch!

The Hawks got Khabibulin!! So we might actually make the playoffs this year! :)

khabibulin is good; not that good though. It sucks Tampa bay lost him. Without him, it'll be harder for us to repeat this year - unless they get someone to replace him.

With the wider goals, smaller pads, 2 line passing and a relaxed icing system in place, I think goalies are gonna be less important. I'll expect games to be like 13-11 or something this year. I think offensive defenseman are the key players on the team. With less grabbing and holding, teams like NJ are gonna be in for a rude awakening.

Honestly, I doubt it as well.

Are these all things that are being implemented this season?

I know that wider goals and smaller pads are. I think 2 line passing (removing the red line except for face offs) is coming. Refs are supposed to allow icing if its a failed passing attempt - and only call it if the player obviously winged it across the ice to get a stoppage. I also think refs are supposed to call hooking and holding more often now, to keep the play from being drug down at the blue lines. Probably allow more breakaways if that happens.

will be interesting to see how quick Canadians flock back to the arenas. And how long it'll take americans to accept the game again.

    Exactly!!! Here's my MSN handle:
To answer your question directly he is a big NHL Canadian hockey player with a big ass attitude that keeps falling down and hurting himself. We end up with this giant clown our our freeken team . I think he is on his 5th carreer concussion, most notably when my good friend Scott Stevens KOed him so hard his mumma felt it. NO WAY, THIS GUY SHOULD NOT BE IN THE GAME!
    So we're off to a gr8 start:
    Niewy-GONE
    Roberts- GONE
    Lindros- A LEAF
    = Disaster

I enjoy watching him playing the game. He is capable of putting life to the game itself. :D
