Limiting signature links / posted links in vBulletin

Hi all, can anyone tell me how do I stop people from posting links or having links in their forum signature until they reach a certain post count? Do I need to install a mod for that? Thanks.

 

yes, there is a mod at vbulletin.org that will allow you to limit usergroups to X links in their sig's

 

That hack ^ doesn't have anything to do with sigs..

you can setup a promotion for users with X post to join, and then you can configure that groups sig link option.

Personally I think it's good to allow signature links on forums. It helps both parties. I wouldn't limit the amount of links a user can have, but maybe the amount of characters or images.

 

it doesn't help the forum owner in the least
in fact, it hurts them because they have more external links per page.

 

is there an option to do it in phpbb.. that is signature only after a certain number of posts...
