I have read an article saying that to get high rankings for your targeted keywords. you need to Limit the number of times that you repeat words in your Keyword Meta Tag. Is this true?
unnecessary repetition of the keywords must be avoided not only in meta tags but anywhere on the page. it makes the page look like spam and greatly diminishes the importance and relevancy of the page.
but how about on using them to target the density and prominence of keywords? Do you think there is an excuse for that?
there is no excuse. write the content for your human visitor...keep in mind the LSI factor too and you can very well write the optimized content which your visitors as well as robots are going to love
I think keyword meta tag is useless if you are optimizing google, it is useful in yahoo and msn to some extent.
yes keyword meta tag is completely useless as far as Google is concerned. as far as yahoo and msn are concerned, keyword meta tag is not that important and its better not to use more than 4-5 keywords in this tag
Always concentrate on less key word per page it's not more than 3-4 per page... also for google algorithm doesn't take keywords from meta tags.
