[Limited Account] Plz Help Me Guys !

Guys today my account got limited with 170$ in it.I received two payments from a person which caused the trouble.

I had a paypal account last year which i used to withdraw cash to my bank.Now i'm not able to add my Bank account as it's saying "added already with another account"

I tried to request a check,but no hope I've my identity to card to send them as proof.Is it ok? Or any other way to get my cash back?

Plz help me [I'm from India]

 

If you account is limited, you need to log into your Paypal account and go to the Resolution Center and provide them with exactly the documentations which they require, no more and no less. If your account is limited because of the transaction then the dispute needs to be resolved first and that paypal rule in your favor before you can get your money.

You cannot withdraw any money until your account is limited. If you used a bank account or credit card with one account, they cannot be used with another account. If it is already added to the existing account, you do not need to add anymore.

 

As eddy said,Login to your account and resolve the disputes.U say 2 payment caused the trouble,did he chargeback or something ? What message are u getting in your Resolution centre?

They must have asked u to send some documents,just send them and then call them,after verification they will restore your account.

yeah jimmy, two payments caused the trouble.The person whom sent the payments too got his account limited.

I m going to send them my Identity card copy.hope this would solve the issue

 

you are in for a treat, this going be a long process.. the worst is they hold the money for 3months before you can request a check

 

Not 3 month,its 6 months,after 6 months they send u email that u can withdraw money.

 

yes that is right it can be withdraw only after 180 days... but then the paypal life is over and the person will never be able to open a paypal account again under the same name....

No, this does not happen typically. It only happens if you ignore the request to furnish them with documentations or if you do not have those documents which would satisfy their requirements. If you have not done anything wrong, there is nothing to worry about, just give them what they need and it would be resolved.

Those people who usually have their account limited are those who signed up pretending to be someone else or pretending to be from a paypal support country while they are not or engaging in activities which are prohibited by paypal.

The measures are there to protect the customers and to comply with the laws regarding Money Laundering.

The 180 days hold period basically is to protect the customers as this will allow them time to request for a chargeback or raise a dispute. If after that timeframe passes, you get your money. Like I said, this only happens if you cannot provide Paypal the requested documentations.

Its is for safety reasons,however sometimes it takes long but as senior members said nothing to worry about if you have done everything legally.

No one else can do this for you - if they do you will just get your account limited, then you'll be back in here complaining that they won't give you the money out of your account

 

NO this is necessary and don't worry just send then documents and yeah Id card is valid and doing Fax is fastest way to resolve limited paypal I have also same problem but after fax all documents I will got my profile within 10 minutes.

 

Wait for 6 months and cash out the money, no other way.

 

Guys i just sent them my ID card copies.hope this would solve my problem.

Also i sent them my ID card alone.Not utility bill or bank statements.Shall i need to send them any further documents?

 

In the resolution center, what did they ask you to send them ? You need to send them exactly all the documents they asked for. Nothing less.

well i see that... you both got your Paypal Limited.. without any reason .... well i think there might be a chance of Risk Transaction ( what i mean to say.. the funds where getting exchange from 1 person to another and someone other 3rd party open a dispute).

as we havnt got any information about why paypal limited your account and your friends account
