i had a charge back from a coustmer paypal limited my account they took like $90 i still owe them $100 for the charge back what should i do i can barley find a place to live then to pay the $100
Well, the only thing you can do is to pay them the money to lift the limitation on your account otherwise it will remain limited until they send the collection agency to try to recover the money from you.
Whatever you do, contact paypal and alert them about it. It is best to be willing to help resolve the issue rather than not tell them about your problem. Just tell them that you do not have the money now and would pay them in a month's time. Maybe now, just pay them what you have first like a couple of bucks or something for the start. Give them assurance that you want to do right.
In the US, I believe they legally cannot do that but in other countries, they might be able to do so. However, their TOS did mentioned that if you issue a refund and there is insufficient funds in your paypal account, it would auto withdraw the shortfall from your bank account but I supposed that is something you initiate. I believe they will however limit your account and may send collection agencies to reclaim the money directly from you instead. There may be a non-payment fees which may be associated with it.
I doubt they can auto initiate a payment from your bank. I am assuming that you use some code/password to start a bank to paypal transfer?
I heard an instances in Europe I think, that they send a collecting agency in front of your house if you have insufficient money in your acc when someone issue a dispute or chargeback.
