Limited Account Access In Paypal

Hello friends,
I just registered with paypal, entered my credit card number and also entered expanded number recieved in my credit card.
Now when I opened my account today it says that you have limited account access. Its something like this :

Now in a resolution center it required my address proof in fax. But I dont have any document which has proof of my address. Because in my passport and driving licence I have my old house's address.

I am from India. So I want to ask if anyone from India whats the solution for this ?

Which document I provide so that they remove my limited account access ?

In my PAN card I have current address. Is it valid to give PAN card xerox in fax ?

Or light bill or telephone bill of new house is valid ?

Please give me advice. They want the fax in 7 days.

 

yes, you can fax them cable bill, phone bill, electricity bill etc. BUT NOT YOUR MOBILE BILL

Fax them along with the cover sheet PayPal give you in the resoltuion center...and within 2 days after the fax, they will email you confirming the reciept of documents and in next 3-5 days, they will give you the outcome of the documents...

 

But what for my own identity ? I have light bill, phone bill but it has my father's name. Not mine.

 

Yes you can use it ONLY if it has YOUR NAME(the nme in paypal account) and YOUR ADDRESS(as you have in your paypal account)

 

forget about it if u cant fax docs in your name

yup according to paypal thats correct. but i have a account which has crossed this limit but has still not been sealed.

It says if the investigation is not in your favour.

But what if you do not provide any docs at all ? Or just give one or two so that it is not in your favour ?

After 180 Days, do they close account ? Are you allowed to open another later ?

 

well they say so on their site , But one of my account which has crossed this limit has still not been sealed .. maybe cause i had completed 1 of the steps in that account!

 

I have a friend from india. He has added credit card to his account, but did not face any problem. Did you enter the number accurately which has come with your credit card statement?

 

Can't you edit the address in your profile while your account is being limited?

Here's my solution for your problem.
Withdraw the money and create new account and this time used your address in passport.

 

well, I sent my PAN card and bank statement copy by fax and the good news is that they have restored my account.

Of course feeling happy now. At least I can purchase some pending things from net. And I was impressed by paypal service. I sent fax and recieved reply just after 4-5 hours that your account has been resolved now.

 

Help needed.....i am from India as well and recently my account access got limited...reason "account was tried to be accessed by third party".....
And they are asking me to fax Utility bill.....

But i am a student here living with friends in a rented flat....and my bills(electricty,water etc) comes by the name of our house owner not my name

So someone help me what other documents can i attach for Utility Bill??

 

I think you can fax that bill. They only need to verify your address on your bill. But if not Paypal will advice you on what other documents you can send to them. Try to email Paypal about your issue thats the best option.

 

Do you have passport,send photocopy of it. You can also fax them your Bank account statement which has your adderss in it.

 

Where did you fax it to - In India ?
