Limit on Subscribed Threads

Hi, is there (now or previously) a limit to the number of subscribed threads we can have? I've been meaning to clean mine up (some are years old and outdated... but being lazy...?).

    Do subscriptions ever expire?

Does having thousands of subscribed threads per member cause a big difference as far as how smooth the forum runs?

    Just curious. Thanks.

No, there are no limits and no... it doesn't slow the forum down. :)

If this is the reason you want to get rid of useless subscribed threads:

    Then Shawn already said "No".

But if you want to get rid of threads that are years old, outdated etc. Simply open the thread and Unsubscribe from it.

OR if you don't want to subscribe to every thread that you post on. Go to Usercp -> Options and change "Default Thread Subscription Mode:" to "Do not subscribe".

    Thanks :).
