Is there anything that would stop tens of thousands of people registering at a single worpress blog to post?

Any problems that could be faced?

Has anyone created a wordpress blog that is pretty huge with regards to sheer amount of content etc and seen any problems? and btw i dont mean scraped content, i mean a properly put together blog thats large.

i currently have 1300 post 1800 comments and 478 authors (just cleaned out 800 in active accounts) and have had no problems so far.

i get on average 3-5 new posts per day and been averaging 120+ per month.

i think the only restrictions you would face would be whether or not your server could handle all of the info

Yeah. The only limitations are on your server or service provider.
