limit of daily gain per page with adsense ?

    Hello,
this question applies to a situation experimented in France, I am not sure that the situation is the same in all the countries covered by Google.

I have noticed that for some sensitive keywords (ie in the finance area) the adsense ads are not exactly relevant.
And more disturbing, in one of my favorite pages, the ads are not anymore relevant since the moment when that page won more than 20 USD per day. Google now displays 5 or 6 sets of ads which are totally different. But the right ads continue to be displayed in the pages of my concurrents.
Is there a way to bypass this ? (Something else that the ad filter, which is not effective in that case).
Or must we auto-limit our gains for each page ?
    Thanks for your answers,
    David

When you say not relevant do you mean they don't match your actual real content, or that don't match your desire for high-paying keyword ads?

they are not relevant at all.
the page is optimized for a very specific keyword (and is ranked accordingly in google results), but there a 5 strange sets of ads that are displayed throuhhout the day : law courses, astrology, webhosting, etc. Nothing to do with the content of the page.
It happens in only one of the page of my website, and it is in the once-highest-performing (20 usd per day).

How do you track the earnings from a particular page? By URL channel or custom channel? Note that channel stats are most of the times behind the actuals, so it would not make much sense if you have reached $20 (as can be seen with your user interface) and the irrelevant ads start showing up right away. The thing is: they should have started showing up couple hours before because that's when you ACTUALLY reached $20 from that page. Hope that makes sense to you.

There's got to be a different reason. E-mail them, ask what's going on.

thanks for the answer. I did not know about the delay with url channel (this is what I use).
But I will not send any email to them! Even though the risk is very limited, I would prefer to remain discrete, because I would not like them to close my account. Everything I do is fully compliant with the guidelines, but we never know...

Google Search Engine and Google Adsense do not use the same criteria for ranking content on a page. It is possible to have things that conflict and that won't impact one side but will impact the other.
