limit of ads on one site

I'm trying to figure out if it's either

- 3 full size content ads and 1 link units
or
- 3 full size content ads and 3 link units

I tried to search the article in the help center but I can't find it.

My experiences are that link blocks are converting much better than any other ad format. That's why I'm asking.

I think 3 ad units 1 link and 1 search box is allowed.

 

I don't understand the prog policies says:

Up to three ad units may be displayed on each page.
A maximum of two Google AdSense for search boxes may be placed on a page.
Up to three link units may also be placed on each page.
Up to three referral units may be displayed on a page, in addition to the ad units, search boxes and link units specified above.
AdSense for search results pages may show only a single ad link unit in addition to the ads Google serves with the search results. No other ads may be displayed on your search results page.

To me this means 3 links units and 3 ad units?

Use other programs to earn the maximum too

 

Thanks that's what I was looking for. Read it before just didn't know where.

 

You want to put more than 3 adsense ads and then other programs too!
BTW, you can think about the inlink ads like kontera if you want more than adsense. For me, it pays almost 30% of adsense and wont be bad as an addition.
