Limit connection per IP

Hi,

I try to limit connection to my vps mod_limitipconn.c but it's not working

Anyone have any experience with mod_limitipconn.c? I get it from here> http://dominia.org/djao/limitipconn2.html

What this thing do is it limit connection per IP to webserver. I already follow the tutorial from here > http://www.fluffyducky.com/pages/60/page1/Installing-mod-limitipconn/

but can't get it to work Anyone have experience with this thing? What did I miss?

Are you running Apache 2.x or 1.x? Make sure you grab the right version and use the DSO method.

 

I think this script is orifinally written to mitigate DDOS attacks, but I believe it uses limiting connections per IP to do so.
