    There are many things to do to promote your site and to improve it SEO-wise.

    Search on google for "Ways to Promote Your Website" and you will get plenty of suggestions.
    I would also suggest to use the google webmaster service to improve your site.

    Well, you have to remember that content is king - and with that being said, you'll need to learn how to drive traffic, and build links. What makes your site different than the other websites on the web?

    You can look upon Google web master guidelines. There you can get lots of stuff for how to make your site search engine friendly. And then keep on reading about seo trend and then implement it to your site.
