    Hey Guys,

    I'm having a hard time doing the installation of Lighttpd... I keep getting this error message...

    ===> lighttpd-1.4.23 depends on file: /usr/local/bin/automake-1.10 - found
    ===> lighttpd-1.4.23 depends on file: /usr/local/bin/autoconf-2.62 - found
    ===> lighttpd-1.4.23 depends on package: libtool>=2.2 - not found
    ===> Found libtool-1.5.26, but you need to upgrade to libtool>=2.2.
    *** Error code 1

    Stop in /usr/ports/www/lighttpd.
    *** Error code 1

    Stop in /usr/ports/www/lighttpd.

    I think I've installed the newer version of libtool (libtool-2.2.6) and I'm still getting the same error that it Found libtool-1.5.26...

    Any ideas guys?

    O.S FreeBSD 7.6 Release

    hm no idea then. I don't use freebsd so I'm not sure how it works.
    The only thing I can think of is that maybe the older version wasn't uninstalled correctly and left some files there.
    Any way to check that in bsd?

    You just need to update ports and libs.
    That i have do in your server. Now you can install all software using ports collection.
