Light weight gallery script?

Anyone know a good lightweight gallery script? I already tried Zenphoto and it seems to lag in the backend since it doesn't have pagination so when I have over 1000 albums it'll take ages to load :(

    Try Anima Gallery
    http://scripts.nagori.co/anima/

    Download at http://scripts.nagori.co

Despite being flat file based, it indexes album totals so it only has to count them once and update when necessary.

If you have those 1000 albums on the same directory tree level, I recommend you break them into categories or you'll have a hard time on any gallery :p

I have looked at quite a few image gallery scripts and many are slow and have far too many useless features. The best and most lightweight script I have found is the free and open source PixelPost script: http://www.pixelpost.org/
