what do i need to do for confirming address from the resolution center to lift the limit if i have moved from one state to another (for a US paypal account).

I have done all the other things mentioned in the resolution center like adding a bank account, changing password and security quesion , now only one thing left to do, verify location. I have already added a credit card before paypal put a limit on my account. when i click click to verify address, a page opens up where i need to insert credit card numbers and then do the phone verification thing.

can i just change the address and phone number and do the phone verification thing without adding a new credit card or do i need to add a new one.

You cant change anymore after your account get the limitation. Can you get any proof of the address is yours? Maybe you should call paypal service department for help you up.

What does Paypal want you to do? If they want you to enter a new CC number and you are not able to, you might just give them a call and try to get it worked out.

If you have moved and have already informed your credit card bank of your shift to the new address, perhaps sending Paypal your credit card statement reflecting the new address would do the trick.

If not, you could probably use the utility bills, phone bills or anything issued by a reliable third party which has your new address that you can use.

I know in my Paypal Profile, I can add a new address but I am not sure if you can do it when your account is limited.

Talk to Paypal and cooperate with them to get this resolved. I think if you have documents which could prove that you did resided in the old address and that you have moved to the new, it would help, ie old credit card statement + new credit card statement.

paypal ask me to enter credit card info again ( i have already added a cc with old address before the account got limited successfully) when i try for address verification, the final step to lift the limit. should i use the old credit card number?

and eddy2099 , paypal didnt ask for any credit card statements , utility bills, phone bills or anything else.

the four steps i had to do to lift the limit was to add and confirm a bank account, change password, change security questions and finaly the location verification by phone.

i m stuck in the fouth step and when i try to do that, paypal asks me to enter credit card info again.

And what happens when you enter the credit card info again? If you are stuck in a loop, maybe give them a call and ask them what you can do to speed up the process?
