    You must read about IP.Board licensing. Lifetime licenses are very expensive, because IPS doesn't sell them anymore :)

    IP.Board Standard is like as lifetime - is always legal, but you must pay support fees - 25$/6 month.

    IP.Board Standard is owned but there will be no update when support ended.

    Lifetime license does not need to pay for update/support
    Pertual lifetime license need to pay for support not update. It's $25 or $30 / year.
    Standard license need to pay for both. it's 6 months period.
