Hello everyone, I'm looking for a review for a pre-launch of my forum, This forum has been around for one month and we still have a bit to do, what we know we need to fix will be included at the bottom. All reviews or registrations are appreciated Life's Hangout Link What we need done: New Logo (color alterations) Moderator userbar needs fixed Background color needs changed (Not sure what color would be best. Current is grey) Need to upload several plugins and create new pages for the last three links on the menu. Need to explain the differences of the usergroups and what it takes to get to that usergroup. Need to add forum rules & marketplace rules
Slow to load. I get why you have "new" next to the forums with new content, but you don't want to say "old", maybe just leave it blank? The New is way too big, it doesn't warrant that much screen space. Consider having a category under sports for people who actually participate in sports and have something to say. I don't really understand why Americans only think about sports from an armchair perspective...
Thank you for your review, honestly, I've not yet seen many forums that have categories for individuals who play sports themselves, American or not, I really appreciate your feedback and will implement what I can within the next 1-3 days Thanks again!
By not having subforums which direct the user in a particular direction the sports forum here allows both types of discussion. There are many, many cycling forums that I know of and I'm sure the same goes for most sports. What the general purpose forums like yours do is ignore those people. Because I'm quite sporty I will be less likely to join a forum if I feel that the sports section only caters to beer swillers.
