    It will be visible to others for about 1 hour and 20 minutes.

    This is wrong... Its a variable for each user, depending on the number of active friends you have. If your friend have about 10 non spammy friends, your link will stay for about one or two months. If the number of your friends, friends are about 1000 it wont visible for him after about 1 or 2 hours, because all of his friends updates will com in front of the row...

    I am really agree with (nvidura). It shows 1 hour if there are many friends in your Facebook friend list. Your friend's friend can also look at your sharing if they are added.
