Still a lot of answers to come yet I think. Any guesses on which one it is, or all 3? I'm thinking France most likely. Was today's 'nuclear' explosion that "wasn't dangerous so dont worry" a smokescreen?
Hah, ask and you shall receive. A documentary just came on TV - the trial of Fatemeh Saharhizan - she's being tried for the murder of her lover's wife, under Sharia of all things. I like the idea of the victim has a say in the penalty, as long as the trial is a just one that is. In this case they're asking for 'retribution'. I guess that means eye for an eye - they want her killed. ADDED: It is interesting though surely if it was only the "specialist equipment" they need that could be built elsewhere a little easier than a takeover. Whoever it is, it was done much nicer than Iraq, no question in my mind on that one.
I saw this one earlier... Let's have a guess on what they're saying to each other... Cameron.. where do I put my hand? Is this the button that makes your mouth move? Sarkozy.. Ooo la la.. feels good huh?
Today's news from twitter @sajeraj: French Left has a majority in the upper house for the first time since 1958! French Greens go from 0 to 10 seats. Vive la revolution! http://www.liberation.fr/politiques/01012361885-senatoriales-les-premiers-resultats
Well now, the central bank can do what it does best and indebt and enslave the Libyan people for generations to come! Ahhhhh! Progress!
March 30th, 2011: Libyan rebels in Benghazi said they have created a new national oil company to replace the corporation controlled by leader Muammar Qaddafi whose assets were frozen by the United Nations Security Council. Libyan Rebels Have Already Established New Central Bank Of Libya
It's always the U.S. It's like when wolves bring down a kill. The bigger, more powerful wolf gets to feed first.
You can't deny the Libyan people controlling their own country won't be a good thing though, can you? Remember they liberated their own country, albeit with the help of NATO.
Because it is going to be same old shit, only new faces. Do you think that common Libyan people will have control? No, I don't think so. They aint going to get 'democracy' or 'freedom', it's just a talking point..
I guess we will find out! However I doubt you will see a leader as ruthless as Muammar Gaddafi and I highly doubt that a leader would step-in, knowing the way Gaddafi was killed and his forces ousted out of power.
Well, when the power is around one leader, it is still way too easier to manage. Kill him and sort things out.. Hitler for example.. But when the power is distributed, its all hell and no solution.. look at Iraq and Afghanistan.. Multiple tribes, multiple leaders, struggle to gain the power, multiple conflicts and too many heads to eliminate..
