That's because, apparently Ferret, you prefer to hold women to a fake standard of beauty. You like fake boobs? How about other fake parts of the female anatomy to go along with it, then?

When did society become so jaded, that's what I want to know. What's wrong with natural?

Ok, I personally don't like breast implants myself, but that's due to the fact that 99.99% of them are just enlargements with no effort whatsoever to make them actually look better. That is, however, just my personal preference, and doesn't actually have to do with the fact that they are in fact fake.

It's like the whole tattoo thing (a question you didn't answer yet btw)... done well, they look great. However, last I checked, you aren't born with them.

Also, I do have to admit... as a kid, I had a HUGE crush on Jaime Sommers, and it did not matter one whit to me that bits and pieces of her were not original parts. :D

Women that have the confidence to not wear make-up and not follow every other trend, are the keepers...but I guess many men like a visual beyond reality, not me though.

Fake breast are kind of hard, except the new ones...there's a name to them,...they're okay.

I was in LA for a while.

LA's the capital of strippers and fake women....if that's what a guy wants, go there and act/be rich.

If I were a male, I would not want to date a plastic version of a girl. Sorry. Ew. If society wasn't so demanding that a woman look, act, and be a certain way we wouldn't even have to worry about breast implants and lipo. Gross.

Michael, what tattoo question didn't I answer?

Ahh... I somehow skipped over that.

I only have one so far, and it's of two dragonflies... I plan on getting several more, but they're only going to be meaningful to me in some way or there's no point in getting them.

Actually, it's not so much society as it is mainstream media. I think it's important to make the distinction. In 2003, it looks like less than 0.026% of women in the US (approx) had some sort of breast related plastic surgery, for instance.

How many women do you know that actually try to look like a model? Or spend thousands of dollars a month on their wardrobes? Or flat out hands down will not even run to the store unless their makeup is perfect? The vast majority I know do not fit that bill. It's just that we are such a media oriented society that it can often seem that's what the norm is.

I think it depends on where you live.

S.F. does seem to have the most un-kept looking girls (and guys) I have ever seen and it is a trendy (sorry untrendy - ya right) thing to do.

That same trendy look is prevalent in ashland Oregon (college town)

People that have moved here from L.A. seem to have the fakest (barbie) look ever

Personally, I'M not that way. But most of the females I used to hang out with (read, used too: I couldn't handle their personalities anymore) were way too concerned about what they looked like 24 hours a day. One woman I knew wouldn't even let her boyfriend see her without makup on... when she was SLEEPING. In the morning, she'd get up and put on all her makeup so her boyfriend never once caught her without it. Needless to say, the relationship didn't last long.

a balance is good. My wife will do extra on special occasions, but doesn't need makeup to look good. She does have olive skin, so she doesn't need the paint, but she showers and brushes her hair and wears clean clothes.

A little self care without being vain. I couldn't handle it if my wife was always in front of the mirror making herself "perfect" or having to have surgeries done.
