Hi, I do believe this is the right forum, cause i couldn't find a better place. I am having a problem with the screen on my LG x120 Laptop. The computer turns on, the screen "lights up" a little bit, and the windows comes up, but the screen stays at black-lighted-a-little. There is a small light, you can see the screen turning on a little bit, but it stays that way. I connected it to an external LCD, and it worked on it, loaded everything. Read a lot about it on the web, people say it's the bulb or the Inverter. How can I know for sure, so I don't spend my money on parts that won't fix the problem? Thank ahead.
It's the LCD Screen that has the problem, if it is covered by the company's warranty policy you can call them or inquire in their website on how to avail of it. If it is not, you better visit the nearest laptop clinic in your vicinity. It is better to ask the experts with regards to your laptop, make sure to check if it's better to buy a new laptop instead of shouldering the cost of having a new LCD screen installed.
I'm also thinking about that this problem is occur because of LCD screen damages internally. If your warranty period is not over still now then go to your dealer of laptop and try to get technical help from them, otherwise you can repair this trouble from technical engineer.
