I am using 18.5 inch Samsung LCD for the last 1.5 years. I have up to 5-10 LCDS of Samsung brand. I have also 5 LCDs of LG also. There is no problem in After sales service in both the cases. I never went to the samsung service for the last 2 years but I visited 2 times for LG in 1 year period. Their services are satisfactory. Recently I have purchase a 20 inch Samsung LCD having finger touch sensors. In my opinion you should go for 20 inch Samsung aprox cost is 6500/- for 20 inch. Warranty period is same both for LG and Samsung.
I give my vote to LG. Truly LG is too good than Samsung. I've seen both and I found LG's resolution is much better than Samsung.
I prefer LG lcd, which more tough from samsung lcd. LG lcd have screen protection which samsung lcd don't have. And LG have bigger ratio at same price.
No, I don't. I prefer LG because I notice in shop with same price, LG LCD have more ratio and clearity than Samsung. So with same price we get more feature.
I prefer LG over Samsung. I repair TV's for a living, and LG has for years been far better at responding to their customers than Samsung. I just replaced a panel on an LG today, in this case I called LG to explain the problem and they agreed to cover the repair for the customer. With Samsung, I would have had to submit a reason for screen replacement, and they would have blamed the customer for the problem, and not covered it.
Both are almost the same as far as picture quality is concerned, but I find LG's remote and features more user friendly
I like samsung better in general. But their customer support is not that good. I have a samsung lcd monitor and I like it very much. But I don't have any experience with LG lcd monitors so I can not compare.
