LF: advertising recommendations\services for directory site

    I'm looking to spend a few dollars, and not sure what the best method would be to promote a tag cloud directory site I have just launched.

    If anyone has a directory type site, I'd appreciate your input on what methods are working best for your advertising dollar.

    tag cloud directory? ahh,it's hard to make money off those sites now.
    When I had one,I submitted to other tag cloud dirs but there aren't many nowadays.

    you can advertise in forum signatures or avatars of dp members. but they r hard to monetize as told by richie.
