Can anyone explain this to me. I did a search under a certain keyword phrase and when I looked at the site that was number one or around there the keyword phrase was not even in the keywords listed in the view source listing at the top of my browser. What is the deal.

Are you saying that just having a word linked to another page in the site which I think is an anker text will cause a site to rank on it? Also I noticed the keywords in view did not cause the site to come up on the first few pages which is as far as I looked. This did not make since either. Please answer the question about ankor text.
