I've noticed that there are some spacing issues between some of the letters in the post.. What's up with that? Just now I noticed it with the letter o and r... so if I type out tomorrow it'll show an extra half a space between o and r. I'm not sure what other letters are affected but I have noticed in while reading content and it's a bit annoying.. qwertyuiopasdfghjklzxvbnm hmm.. ofcourse I don't really notice it in my post here but it's been obvious in other post I've read.. Has anyone else noticed it?
Can you point to the particular post you're talking about? I will check if that extra half a space appears on my screen and let you know. Maybe that post is using a different font but it's just a guess. Have you tried viewing the same post in some other browser? (I mean any browser other than the one you use regularly.)
some screenshots would be good. If the image is small enough you can paste it directly into the post which saves you the hassle of creating files, uploading etc. example:
I haven't tried other browsers but I will when/if I see it again. I'll also take a screenshot, not sure why I didn't when I made the post.
example https://forums.digitalpoint.com/thr...ice-for-domain-renewal.2736945/#post-19066073 support even when I type it here the spacing between all letters is good but the "ort" seems off to me.
In the uploaded snap, the half-space is evident but on my screen, your post and the one you've pointed out look fine - I mean the 'ort' appears fine. Is it the same font in the snap and have you viewed the same post in other browsers? I hope these pages somewhat explain the problem - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Letter-spacing http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kerning.
Sorry for the late reply. This is from my home pc which is win 7, 64 bit and firefox. I haven't noticed on other xf setups if why I originally brought it up. Regards
Just to test, could you try a different browser to see if it might be a Firefox/Windows specific thing?
Seems fine for me in chrome, so maybe it's a firefox deal. This is the version I'm currently running. (34.0.5)
I don't have a Windows machine to check it on, but seems okay with Firefox for Mac. Only thing I can think of is something going on with the Windows/Firefox combo... at which point I'm not sure it would even be fixable on our end.
